THE PEOPLE OF
PROJECT E3

Meet the Founder & Executive Director

Keisha Felton

Driven by a deep sense of purpose and a desire to honor her mother’s benevolent legacy, Keisha Felton embarked on a remarkable journey that led to the creation of Project E3. With nearly 15 years of experience in the airline industry and profoundly impacted by the loss of her mother, Carrie, and the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, Keisha felt a calling to reimagine her life in a more meaningful, selfless way.

Carrie, a cherished Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend, Teammate, Wife, Mother, Teacher, and Coach, was a constant advocate for those in need, providing spiritual, emotional, and financial support. She embodied the spirit of a traditional “Village,” always there to uplift and empower those around her.

Drawing inspiration from her mother’s humanitarianism, Keisha founded Project E3 with a straightforward yet powerful premise: to provide disadvantaged and underrepresented students with access to quality enrichment programs that are typically readily available to children from economically stable, over-resourced communities.

Keisha's vision is clear: by removing the barriers of access and resources for underserved youth, Project E3 aims to ignite greatness, realize dreams, and fulfill basic needs within the community. Keisha envisions Project E3 becoming an integral part of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, a steadfast champion for those in need—spiritually, emotionally, and financially—just as the traditional "Village" has always been. Through her unwavering dedication, Keisha Felton is shaping a brighter future for the next generation, carrying forward her mother's legacy of compassion and empowerment.
